About the Owner, Betsy Detlefs

I have been a Creative Memories Consultant/Advisor for over 28 years.  I signed up in September of 1995, one month prior to giving birth to my first daughter, Rachel. I know you have heard this before, but it all started with a Home Show that a friend DRAGGED me to.  I signed up as an Consultant/Advisor the next week.  It wasn't meant to be a business, but more of a way for me and my friends to get a discount and spend some time together.  Without any true intentions, it evolved into a business and helped me support my family and my kids.  Because of Creative Memories, I was able to quit my Corporate job and stay home and raise my children shortly after my 3rd daughter, Erica was born.

"It's A Diva" crop came about within the next 11 years and has been in business for over 17 years.  I have actually lost count and am not really sure when I converted from doing Creative Memories events and started doing "It's A Diva" crops.  I formed "It's A Diva" crops because I wanted to be able to give people a place to come together, with other people, to work on their albums and other craft projects.  It was a great way for woman to share, bond, and form amazing relationships.  It's A Diva crop also let me give my attendees a place to learn about other products, use other products and feel comfortable in a "all friendly" product environment. I say there isn't a scrapbook product that I don't like. I like them all!

I have been married to my husband Peter, for over 34 years.  I am the Mother of 3 beautiful young ladies, Rachel, who just turned 28, Madison who is 25 and Erica who is 23.  I work outside the home in addition to my Creative Memories business and "It's A Diva" Crop Company.

I am always saying, come crop with us. Come alone and leave with a WHOLE LOT of new friends, or bring your friends and just take some "ME" time. We are one of the friendliest crops in the area!
